Nike SB is back with another must-cop Orange Label drop, this time boasting a clean 'University Blue' colorway. Duke fans might not be stoked, but whatever! This limited pack features three classic silhouettes—the Dunk Low, Janoski OG+, and Vertebrae—all built for skateboarding with skateboarders in mind. Take a look:
Let's be real—the Dunk Low is the star of the show but that doesn't mean the Janoski and Vertabrae need to be hiding in the shadows. If you've ever skated a pair of Janoski's, you know they're proper. And the Vertabrae is one of those shoes that you just can't knock until you try. Seriously, they're tough as nails and skate so well once they're broken in.
But yeah, for anyone who prefers something a bit more low-key, the Janoski keeps things minimal with the same University Blue suede, but still provides that sleek, no-frills vibe that it's always been known for. I know puffy skate shoes are making their return, but any vulc-lover out there knows the Janoski is untouchable.
As mentioned, though, rounding out the pack is the Vertebrae, which is obviously one Nike SB’s newer addition to their already stacked lineup. It's tech. It's grippy. It's breathable. It's just a good skate shoe! Simple as that. Anyone who remembers Savier knows this looks exactly like one of their shoes (ha) but that's not necessarily a bad thing. BA made them look sick!
Like all Orange Label releases, the ‘University Blue’ pack is exclusive to skate shops, so you won’t find these at your basic sneaker retail shop. Sorry! Gotta support your local.
But if you’re looking for one of the cleanest colorways of any of these kicks to start off the new year, you know what to do. They should all be arriving any day now. Yew!
