I'm going to try and keep this brief so there's lots of room for the pictures: The difference between Ryan Smith and other super good skateboarders is that when most people look at something treacherous they'd like to try and say, "I think I can do this," they mean "I think that someday if all the forces in the universe are aligned and the temperature is just right, I'll try this ... if there're two filmers here." When Ryan utters the same familiar phrase, what he really means is, "I'm going to do this right now." Ryan is a rare breed. He's honed his skills on the crummy terrain of a tiny town in the interior of B.C. Now that he's traveling around and skating better terrain, he's going off the Richter.¿Scott Pommier
