Starting Point

1. Here's a mini-ramp trick that combines a backside five-0 and a pivot to fakie.

2. Approach the coping at a slight angle and with some speed to grind.

3. Having backside five-0s down on tranny will help.

4. Stand up on that five-0 like you mean it.

5. The faster you go, the longer you'll grind.

6. Start leaning back and into the tranny.

7. Everyone does this part a little different. Some will pop a little ollie with the tail, and some will just muscle the board back into the tranny.

8. Get that weightless feeling, and start turning your body to roll into the tranny fakie.

9. Keep that fakie manual going, and don't touch your nose down too early or you'll end up on your shoulder at the flatbottom.

10. Roll down the tranny with confidence.

11. After mastering backside five-0s to fakie on a mini ramp, take it to larger transitions and maybe even a pool.

12. Add flips for increased difficulty.
