Holy crap, this album is like nothing you've ever heard! There's no distortion, it's not exactly what you'd expect it to be, and it totally doesn't sound just the same as every single Dinosaur Jr. album that's ever been released! Wait ... no, it does. All you devoted groupies will be playing a safe bet by picking this one up. And to all the new fans out there: welcome to the world of sameness, where change is definitely not a constant. Despite all this trash-talking, it's still a decent album. Honestly.¿Psycho Jimmy
FlufI Know I'm Nobody EPCold Steel Facts Records
The EP format is the perfect dose of a trio called Fluf.
I Know I'm Nobody is a CD that grows on you after a few listens. It won't change the world or inspire a revolution, but it warms the heart. The songs are mostly mid tempo, blending a sound that's thick and heavy, yet equally sweet and poppy (think the dirge of Grunge peppered with cotton-candy choruses). Your head will be boppin', and before you know it, a song or two'll be stuck in your head.
A whole album could be a bit much for this reviewer, so that's why six songs do a nice job. Then again, this EP actually contains 21 tracks (fifteen of which are presumably from the old Fluf catalog).
Fluf is like a pair of fancy pants: great to look at (or in this case, listen to), warm and fuzzy, but ill-fitting and uncomfortable after a few hours. And damn, all those catchy choruses are still stuck in my head!¿C.J.N.

Okay, I like this shit a lot, but the rhymes are abstract to the point that I'm not sure what the hell he's talkin' about sometimes. Other than that, the shit's nice. The beats are really trancey, too. Listening to it the other night, I found myself starring at the salt and pepper shakers for ten minutes straight in a deep zone-out session. Good music can put you in another world for a minute. In my particular case, a little longer. I think this album came out earlier in the year, so we're a little late reviewing it, but that's okay because the album is good. It would be a different story if it sucked.¿D.C.

Dido is the girl you want to keep singing in the beginning of that Eminem song "Stan." The sample is from the song "Thank You," and it magically makes girls take their clothes off.¿Shad

I'm not sure why, but this morning I went to cnn.com and added a couple of my own comments on their "What the viewers think" section. My alias was Al Gore, and I mentioned Korn at least a dozen times. The political jerks started getting pretty bummed, which made it very enjoyable. Needless to say, Gore's promises to have Korn as secretary of foreign affairs if elected probably won't come true.¿Keith Ladzinksi
Movie Review
Woodstock: Three Days of Peace and Music
I know you hate hippies, you little robots, but in 1970 a documentary film crew attended a three-day concert in Woodstock, New York, shot over 300 hours of footage, and edited it into what's essentially a three-and-a-half-hour music video. It was shot completely on crystal-clear 16mm film, and the editing, done by a young Martin Scorsese, is nothing short of genius. The film stars Jimi Hendrix, Crosby Stills and Nash, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Canned Heat, Joan Baez, a couple-dozen other über bands of the 1960s¿70s, and 500,000 dirty hippies who are all old now and can look back on a time when Pepsi and a billion idiotic dotcoms didn't own the whole stinking world. Lucky old bastards.¿Joel Moonglow
