For this collection, we’re seeing a little less Shmoofoil (still plenty, though) and more straight-up Gonz art. And while I’ve always been a huge fan of the Shmoo, I’m just as big a fan of Mark’s work overall. That shift makes this drop feel like a breath of fresh air, as far as I'm concerned. Big fan. The crewneck and the long-sleeve button-up are easily two of my favorite pieces—too sick.
adidas teased a new colorway of Gonz's Aloha Super earlier this month and this new apparel collection compliments it perfectly. Most of this stuff should be hitting finer skateshops across the country, but if not, hit the adidas site and get it straight from the source.
Mark has always operated on his own wavelength. His skating, his art, his approach to style—nothing ever feels forced. Always natural. Always real. Always Gonz. And I think it's safe to say that same energy can be felt in this new collection.
