There’s always been an ease to the way Joey Guevara skates that really pulls you in. He's stylish and controlled. Super natural. Creative. Nothing ever feels forced or fake. It's rad. And his latest part for Alien Workshop, 'Wander' is no different.
On YouTube, someone commented, "Joey could do way more difficult tricks if he wanted to, but he intentionally chooses the beauty of well done simpler tricks. He’s a such rare gem." And I couldn't agree more. It's certainly not a bad thing. Peep the part and see for yourself.
The dude can piece together a line, that's for sure. And his spot and trick selection are always super thoughtful. There's a proper blend of everything peppered into this part, from handrails to manuals and everything in between. Oh, he has some envious flick, too!
Like countless others, I grew up on Alien Workshop and love that the brand is still here today. I know they've gone through plenty of changes over the years, but most iconic brands have. Seems like they're in a good place these days nonetheless, and with dudes like Joey waving the flag high, things just seem right.
What else can I say? Joey's talent is undeniable and I've never seen him drop a bad part. There's a strong simplicity to the way he skates. Always tasteful, always easy on the eyes. Press play and get stoked. See all the latest from Alien Workshop here.
