It feels like we post at least one video from Ambition Snowskates every year, and every year the clips get gnarlier. Morgan DT ditched his trucks and hit the snow-covered streets for his new '365' part, and I'm personally as blown away as ever.
It's not quite skateboarding. Not quite snowboarding. But it's clear that Morgan's spot and trick selection clearly stem from someone who rips on a skateboard—and he does. These edits always get us talking nonetheless, and this is no exception. In fact, it seriously rips. Doesn't snow much here in San Diego, but if it did, I'd have one of these on deck. Peep:
Would slams be worse or mellower on a snowskate? I think worse. Way worse. The cement is already unforgiving, but when it's covered in ice and snow? Nah. I guess that's really neither here nor there, but I can't help but think about it.
That said—doesn't look like Morgan is slamming very often. A few times, sure, but this dude has insane control and steps to some seriously sketchy spots. That ender is absolutely absurd.
Ambition dropped a video six or seven years ago—I can't remember the name—but I remember it basically breaking the internet. None of us in the office had really ever seen snowskating before and I can still recall huddling around the computer screen and tripping out. The spots, the tricks, the landscape itself... absolutely wild. Morgan's new part has me feeling the same way.
Anyways, I just can't get over some of these spots. It's like a whole new world opens up when the terrain is covered in snow. With a skater's eye? Game over! And Morgan clearly has that eye.
