Antihero is one brand in skateboarding that has truly always done things their own way. From elite their team to their videos to their graphics, they epitomize that raw nature so many brands attempt to accomplish. And their latest board series, 'Flatulent Beauties' is the perfect reminder. Too good. Take a look:

Raney Beres, Daan Van Der Linden and John Cardiel got the treatment on this series designed by the one and only Todd Francis, and if you ask me, this is the brand at its best. It's funny. It's goofy. And with Raney, Daan and Cardiel's names stamped on these planks, it's as raw and real as it gets.
Like many, Todd Francis is and always will be one of my favorite artists. What he's done with Antihero over the years is nothing short of impressive, but the icing on the cake is that the dude is clearly always having fun with it. He sat down with Living Proof Radio earlier this year and talked about the early Antihero days, art and plenty more. Tap the post above and check it out. You'll be glad you did.
I have to imagine some of the spitball sessions between the powers that be at Antihero are probably the best meetings ever. What the brand has successfully done for decades proves it.
Space on skateshop board walls seems to get thinner and thinner for some brands, but I don't know a skateshop in the world who isn't carrying AH. You'd be crazy not to. I salute these dudes for constantly keeping things raw and for literally ALWAYS putting skateboarding first. There's really no other way. Look for these and all the latest 18 offerings at your local shop.
