Bam 2.0 has been one of the raddest things to watch lately, in my opinion. The guy’s been through hell—years of substance abuse, personal struggles, and time away from skating—but he’s turned it around. Stories like this don’t always get a happy ending, but Bam’s continuing to make sure his does.
He recently returned to The Nine Club to fill us all in with what's really been going on. Reflecting on the past, and looking ahead with a fresh mind, Bam fills us all in and peppers in some crazy stories for good measure. It's a great episode. Dive in.
I just have so much respect for this wild man these days. He’s putting in the work, skating harder than he has in years, and actually enjoying life again. It’s sick to see him smiling, laughing, and fully back in the mix.
As many of you Bam fanatics might already know, the former Jackass star is also returning to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 as a guest player in the upcoming July release. Tap the video above to learn more. Spoiler—he's stoked.
Whether you’ve been following Bam since his pre-TV-pro-skateboarding days, grew up watching CKY and Jackass, or whatever else, his story hits hard. And it goes way beyond skateboarding.
It’s raw. It's real. And it's seriously inspiring.
Find a way to carve out some time and listen to the whole episode if you can. He even touches on Feedback, for you classic TWS video fans out there. It's a proper deep dive behind the curtains of one of skateboarding's biggest personalities.
Press play and hold on tight. Bam still has stories for days.
