Asics Skateboarding just dropped a new edit called "Seasons" featuring Brent Atchley and Emile Laurent, and it’s exactly what the title suggests.
Things kick off in the middle of winter, with the crew bundled up and skating a snow-packed backyard bowl—well, at least a section that they shoveled out—flamethrowers included. Brent and Emile make the best of the icy setup and prove a little snow isn’t gonna stop these two from ripping. But from there... the vibe shifts and the weather turns. Take a look below and lets talk PNW seasons.
We quickly see the edit shift to warmer weather. Suddenly the puffy jackets are gone, the sun is out and the hills and bowl are dry and welcoming. Brent and Emile bomb around the local terrain and eventually return to the same bowl as before, this time without the snow. Things can change pretty quickly when the seasons flip up in Skamania County Washington! And these two fully embrace it.
The edit is a quick hit of Pacific Northwest skateboarding in all its forms. And it's a rad look at the way Asics continues to present itself in skate culture. They continue to do things their way, letting their team and skating do all the talking. Hey, I'm a fan.
Have you skated any Asics yet? Hit your local and get the scoop. Might be time to try something new! Anyways, peep the edit and watch the seasons change with Brent and Emile—two of our favs.
