It's quite relevant these days and Kevin Perez is out here asking the hard questions. It certainly doesn't hurt to have easy-on-the-eyes Dylan Jaeb as your subject.
Case in point, we've got young Dylan skating a round manual pad doing a switch nose manual to fakie flip out. The first clip is filmed with a Sony HPX and the second is with an iPhone. You be the judge.

The camera angle does look a bit smoother and controlled. The zoom is more accurate and the filmer is able to get that face-feet-face technique that's all the rage. The iPhone angle is a bit wider with an all-in-focus depth of field. A little less professional looking.
We'll leave it to the comments: Most seem to prefer the camera angle. A couple funny comments call for a drone or GoPro angle. Some even say "Cam for the video, iPhone for insta." Makes sense—if all you're going to use the clip for is IG, might as well film it vertical with your phone. And if you're as good as Dylan, this trick is basically a warm up anyway. Thanks Kevin!
