Beginning June 5 in New York City, the 16th annual DMC Competition will hit 13 of America's major cities, showcasing the country's most talented DJ's. According to The Source, "The DMC Competition has in recent years become one of the most prestigious showcases for emerging hip-hop DJ's." The DMC Technics World DJ Championship is world renowned for giving birth to the art of Turntablism, an innovative musical form whereby the turntable becomes the instrument and the DJ the composer.
