Day one of Copenhagen open went off! Hundreds of people walking and biking to see people like Chris Russell, Cody Lockwood, Pedro Barros, Lizzie Armanto, Rune Glifberg, and more skate the Fælledparken bowl. So many people it was nearly impossible to get a good spot to watch. With the rain coming and going it looked like the contest might not happen, but the sun came through and everyone started throwing out insane tricks like nose grind tail grabs and back tails on the over vert. Pedro Barros was killing it and took first. Then later that night at the Wonderland bowl, Chris Russell earned himself first place!—Mikey Gould
