Design Museum Exhibits Features History of Skateboarding and a Skateable Ramp

The Design Museum in London is finishing up its newest installation, centered around skateboarding. The new exhibit features a drawn-out history of skateboarding, alongside a ramp, free to the public to skate.

The exhibit comprises more than 100 rare and antique boards, alongside videos, magazines, and objects that are iconic to the history of skateboarding.

The most notable feature is the well-crafted mini ramp with a pretty hefty extension sitting in the back corner. The Exhibit opens on October 20th, 2023, and runs through June 2nd, 2024. There will be two slots to sign up for a skate each day, with three open on the weekends. Check out a sneak peek of Diggs and Gavin Bottger getting the first skate on it!
