A few years back, it felt like Donta Hill was everywhere. From homie edits to brand projects to all his boxing stuff, he was making moves and absolutely killing it, on and off the board.
Things sort of quieted down shortly after, as they often do in skateboarding, but after watching his new video part, “Mortaddicere,” it’s clear the dude has been anything but inactive. Looks to me like he's been staying busy in the streets, stacking clips nonstop, and progressing like he never left. Peep the part.
Donta's style has always been unique and the spots he skates really compliment it. He's a tall ass dude, you know? Some of these "ledges" would be chest high on most people! But it definitely works. He's tech. He'll jump down the big stuff. And all the stuff on and over the picnic tables was insane.
Plus, he skates with that rare blend of power and finesse. He's light on his feet, but he's stomping his tricks all the same. It's just rad.
This part was a surprise, but it was an absolute breath of fresh air nonetheless. And we're stoked to see Donta out there doing his thing. I'm not sure who's hooking him up beyond adidas right now, but if he's a free agent, I'd say someone better swoop him up soon!
Keep killing it, Donta! We see you.
