There's nothing like a hometown win. Street League Skateboarding touched down in Tokyo for the first time ever and saw Yuto Horigome dominate the course taking home the W in his hometown.
He pulled out a few new moves and blended them with his already admirable staples, leaving the sold out arena in hysteria as he rifled off trick after trick from start to finish. Everyone killed it! But Yuto was clearly in the zone.

"THANK YOU TOKYO," wrote Yuto on Instagram on Saturday evening. "I won street league of dreams today! I was so happy that I was able to win here in my hometown Tokyo. Thank you for your continued support ❤️ There will be a lot of reports this month, so stay tuned."
Yuto is locked in right now. He's basically out there competing with himself. Respectfully, all the other skaters in the contest are giving him a run for his money, sure, but as they all get a little better...so does Yuto.

Who's hungrier? Who wants it more? Like countless others, I had a feeling Yuto wasn't going to disappoint his hometown and those predictions were true. But at this point, the location hardly matters, because this dude is on fire.
Between his difficult tricks, insane consistency and carefree style, Yuto is just exciting to watch and it's insane that he continues to blow our minds the way he does. How do you get better when you're already so talented? I don't know, but Yuto certainly does.
It's going to be an interesting rest of the year, that's for sure. Congrats, Yuto!
