Look: Independent's New ‘Built to Grind’ DIY Skate Wear Is Designed to Take a Beating

Independent Trucks Built To Grind DIY Skate Wear

Independent just dropped its ‘Built to Grind’ DIY skate wear collection and they're making one thing clear—this stuff’s made to get wrecked. The collection features canvas pants, a hooded canvas work jacket, vest, hoodie, tee, hat, belt and even some Stage 11 trucks.

To back it all up, the Indy crew literally threw on the gear and built a cement quarter pipe and filmed the entire process. Peep the video below and see the gear in action.

"Built for those who demand durability and performance. Just like our trucks, this collection is built tough," Indy mentions on YouTube. "[Featuring] premium materials and reinforced construction at every stitch." Swipe through the post below for a closer look at the gear. Yeah, safe to say this stuff looks tough.

From the streets to the job site to your local DIY, every piece in this collection is built for you to give it your worst. No flashy branding, no weak seams, no nonsense—just solid materials that can take a beating and keep you rolling.

Your local shop should be carrying most of the gear, but just in case, get a closer look at the collection here. The DIY spirit is alive and well.
