From 'Rubbish Heap' to 'Destroying America' and Beyond: Jeremy Klein Talks Keeping His Skateboarding Spirit Alive

Jeremy Klein is often considered one of the more underrated (under appreciated?) professionals from skateboarding's golden era, but those who know him know he's an absolute legend when you truly break down his accomplishments and pioneering approach to this sacred pastime of ours.

In the new episode of Epicly Later'd, Patrick O'Dell cracks open the history books and take an impressive trip down memory lane with one of skateboarding's most comical (and downright rebellious) figures. From Rubbish Heap to The End to Destroying America and beyond...this is an episode you won't want to miss.

I've always been a Jeremy Klein fan, but this episode surprisingly made me back the dude even more (which I didn't think was possible). Destroying America is such a huge, monumental part of my childhood and I still reference it pretty often to this day. And the same exact thing can be said about The End. When I say their part is iconic, I mean it with every ounce of the word. Those skits will forever be burned in my brain, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Just look at all the people in this episode who were connected to Jeremy one way or another? Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Ed Templeton, Koston, Kirchart, Reynolds, Romero, Rowley...I'm barely scratching the surface here, too.

Spanning multiple generations, personalities, and walks of life, Jeremy's inspiration continues to shine throughout the skateboarding community (whether you totally realize it or not). He's still just having fun and doing things his way, which I respect so much. Sure, he's a little wild...but like Lance Mountain mentioned: People like crazy people.

No reason for me to keep blabbing on, though! This episode is epic. Dive in. And thanks for the decades of inspiration, Jeremy. Never stop.
