Wow! We know Kevin Baekkel is a straight up beast but sometimes a little refresher doesn't hurt. This is some heavy duty stuff right here.
This massive, terrifying five-0 from his part in Creature’s GANGREEN video epitomizes the classic battle between skater and spot. But this looked like more than a little battle. This was war!

It takes a very specific skater (hell, person in general) to step to a rail of this proportion and Kevin steps to it like a Viking soldier. Fearless. Fully charged. Ready for whatever lies ahead.
It’s no surprise that a battle like this went down. This thing is not for the faint of heart and is bound to test whoever wants a piece of it.
I love the way Kevin skates. Skateboarding has a million avenues, a million styles and offers a million ways to have fun—we know this. But not everyone is willing to scare themselves like this; to give their blood and sweat for the trick. That’s all just part of it, though.
This was rad to see. The process. The battle. The feeling of accomplishment. Boom! Go watch his part in GANGREEN for even more heavy carnage like this and go scare yourself like Kevin today!
