To say master lensman Kevin Perez stayed busy in the streets in 2024 would be a total understatement. The dude killed it. No debate. Known for his proper lenswork and clean edits, Perez capped off 2024 with LORE—a heavy-hitting indie skate video that turned heads across the board. All of your favs and then some had clips in this video, and it was the perfect knot to tie on a productive year.
Well, now it’s September 2025 and Kev continues to peel back the curtain by giving us some raw clips from LORE, and they’re just as gnarly as you’d expect. He dropped Part 1 back in July and just hit us with the second installment. Dive in:
Part 2 features: Sean O'Conner, Art Cordova, Tanner Burzinski, Christian Henry, Thomas Dritsas, Shane Heyl, Nikolai Piombo, Lui Elliot, Willie Wilson and Ish Cepeda.
In case you're unfamiliar, LORE had quite an impressive line-up. Need some proof? Peep the list below.
Okay, here go—in alphabetical order, we have: Adrian Adrid, Art Cordova, Blake Carpenter, Brandon Starr, Christian Henry, Cordano Russell, Daniel Scales, Eric Iwakura, Flo Mirtain, Franky Villani, Gabriel Fortunato, Ish Cepeda, Jake Hayes, Javon Goodman, Jeremy Leabres, John Lane, Jonny Hernandez, Julian Restrepo, Kai Kishi, Kai Shimakage, Kenny Stanley, Kyle Walker, Lui Elliot, Mike Wine, Nikolai Piombo, Robert Neal, Ron Parker, Ronnie Kessner, Ryan Carrell, Sean O’Conner, Shane Heyl, Tanner Burzinski, Thomas Dritsas, TJ Harris, TJ Rogers, Tre Williams, Trent Mcclung, Wacson Mass, Willie Wilson and Yosef Ratleff.
I love raw clips because they show us what each skater really brought to the table to get those few seconds of shine in the project. Seeing their process unfold in raw form always just adds to the appreciation.
At the end of the day, LORE is a great reminder of why we love independent skate videos—and why Kevin Perez continues to be one of the most trusted names behind the lens. From legit pros to homies, hungry ams to hometown heroes, videos like LORE shed light on those who deserve it most.
