Leo Takayama just dropped a rad new part for Royal Trucks, and it’s a solid look at what makes his skating really stand out. Quick feet, tons of control, deep bag of tricks—it's all here and you can feel the energy through the screen from start to finish. Press play:
Takayama has been killing it for years and we're always stoked when some new clips of his surface. The fact that we got a rad new part from him—for Royal Trucks, no less—is something to get hyped on. His vibes are infectious and he always brings the stoke to every session. The dude is a total skate rat, and it shows.
His trick selection really compliments the spots he skates. He can piece together a line, that's for sure, but he's not afraid to do a little jumping either. His talent is impossible to deny, and again, his positive energy really sets the tone. Pop, power, precision—the important boxes are checked.
I'm stoked to see him rocking Asics in some of these newer clips as well. He's a perfect fit to that tasteful squad, if you ask me. Love to see it.
What can I say? It's a total feel-good part and it's bound to make you wanna grab your board and hit the streets. If anything, consider this your sign to go skate some Royals! When's the last time you've seen them out in the wild? Might be time to change that.
