This rail does not look friendly, but that didn't stop Norwegian madman Kevin Baekkel from stepping to it. Locked and loaded, he soars down this thing unfazed, but that doesn't mean a battle didn't ensue.
What's up with that strange little kink at the end? Doesn't seem like it needs to be there, but it definitely makes this already gnarly feeble even gnarlier. Patient and precise, Kevin hops on and makes his way to the front lines.
Anything on a 21-stair handrail is gnarly. No reason to deny that. So obviously, it's going to take a little trial and error. The run-up is pretty inconvenient and the set itself is squished pretty tight—and this thing is clearly steep as hell. Even some of those bails were pretty hairy. It all just adds to it.
Nothing great comes easy, the best stuff is the stuff we work towards, especially in skating. That feeling of accomplishment is unmatched. That, and knowing the battle is over, but the endless war continues. Kevin put in the work and secured the clip like it was just another day at the office. That's how it's done!
