Skatelite recently added a fresh surface to Tony Hawk's iconic Hawk's Nest ramp and this thing is smoother, faster and stronger than it's been in years!
Nothing worthwhile comes without some proper effort, though. So watching this time lapse of the process is admirable as it is satisfying. This was no small project, but the benefits will be reaped for years to come.

There's nothing like a good time lapse video, right? These dudes got to work and clearly wasted no time breaking this ramp down and piecing it back together like the biggest Lego set in the world.

Fast she is, indeed. More than ever, both of these videos make me wish I knew how to skate vert. The satisfyingly smooth sound of urethane rolling on top of that Skatelite alone gets me hyped beyond belief.
Props to the crew who handled this makeover. With summer on the rise, you know The Birdman will be traveling with his ramp like the legend he is, and this new facelift will surely be bringing smiles for miles across the country.
