LES institution and iconic watering hole, Max Fish will celebrate its 30-year reign this year. The venue was established in 1989 by Ulli Rimkus and has become one of the most notorious gathering spots for skaters and artists alike for the last several decades.
To celebrate, Max Fish has partnered with adidas Skateboarding and the duo will reveal a commemorative footwear collab and also host an anniversary event on Sunday, July 14. Open to the public, programming includes performances by Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Brad Truax (Interpol), Greg Fox, Mick Barr, Angel Deradoorian, and more. A photo and t-shirt retrospective will chronicle the who's who that have participated in the bar's legacy.
