The current Taku Lake Skatepark is pretty desolate, with only a few pre-fab ramps and a round rail. The plans for the expansion and remodel of the current park is thanks to the fundraising efforts of Jason and Kelly Borgstede, Owners of Blue and Gold Board shop in Anchorage.
The park will be right around 8,00 sqft, making it one of the largest skateparks in the entire state of Alaska, and an asset that will be valuable to skateboarders across Anchorage.
