New York is home to some of the best street spots imaginable, but it also has a plethora of skateparks that rank some of the best in the nation, as well as some of the worst to be frank.
In the small suburb of Auburn, NY sits a skatepark that could be better compared to the other parks that expand across the state. It features a few metal ramps, a spine, and a flat bar, with some pretty crusty concrete sitting below.
In 2021 the city of Auburn formed a skatepark committee that planned to have a new skatepark park built in place of the old one, with raised funds of $909,696 to go towards the new build.
Grindline Skateparks out of Seattle was awarded the bid for the design and build of the new skatepark. Construction of the new park began in September and just a few ago they finished up, opening the park to the public. Check it out below!
