“No Conoche Cartago de Noche” Captures Costa Rica’s Skate Scene After Dark

No Conoche Cartago de Noche

Been a minute since we've had a Costa Rica update, and this one's great. Costa Rica certainly isn't our first thought when we think of stacking urban clips at night, but this crew put in the time and effort to find the street gems in Cartago, a farmers' province in CR. Very unique and worth your time!

Titled No Conoche Cartago de Noche, this entire project was filmed under the cover of darkness, giving the whole piece a raw, unique vibe. This isn't a mix of imports—it’s a deep dive into the local scene, featuring nothing but the homegrown talent of Cartago's skate rats.

The crew went deep into the night to hunt down unpolished street terrain and stack clips where the street lights are the only lights. The result is a strictly-local, all-night session that is completely dialed in, proving you don't need the bright city lights to lay down tricks and lines. Press play and watch Costa Rica’s underground put their small town on the map.

These guys found a goldmine of never-been-seen spots. Really rad video. It gives you the vibe of, okay, if these guys can do it, I can find more spots in my hometown.

Central America is getting a lot of shine this week. Check out this new one that shines a light on the powerful Guatemala scene:
