It's a new year and I'm stoked to know that Nora Vasconcellos continues to leave her mark on skateboarding with her originality, style and creativity, both on and off the board. Thunder Trucks just teased her debut collection with the brand, featuring a set of trucks, a shirt, hoody and hat. Get a closer look below! It's all hitting skate shops now.
As the caption mentions, Nora's signature trucks feature raw hangers paired with dual-color textured lavender/silver cast baseplates. Very Nora. And even though I personally never skate colored trucks, the balance of that raw metal and soft lavender shades actually looks super dope. Again, very Nora.
But as mentioned, there's a lot more than just trucks to get stoked on here. Nora’s collection also includes a cozy heather grey hoodie, a black graphic tee, and a snapback hat to properly round out the lineup, giving us all the chance to rep Nora’s style literally from head to toe. Boom!
When Thunder announced Nora was officially part of their squad last year, I was stoked. Have you seen her welcome video? Peep it above! Before that, she had been riding Krux for quite a while, and hey—I'm not hating, but c'mon? The Thunder team is stacked with some of skateboarding's heaviest hitters, which is why Nora deserves a seat at that table. She's a heavy hitter herself!
As far as Nora's debut collection, you should expect it all to fly off shelves fast, just FYI, so be sure to hit your local shop before it's all gone! I love Thunders, and even though I said I typically like boring old silver trucks, maybe I'll treat myself to some Nora-inspired metal to kick off the new year.
