Eric Dressen has seen it all and then some. Santa Cruz recently sat him down and took a trip down memory lane revisiting his iconic Speed Freaks part (watch below) before blasting back to the future and breaking down his current setup, music hype and more.

Santa Cruz board. Indys. Bronsons. OJs. A little Mob to keep things grippy. I'm sure plenty of you out there might be rolling on a similar whip as you watch this, and even more might be itching to.
Finding inspiration from both the past and present, Dressen's setup is the perfect complete to just cruise around on or get busy—a hybrid of sorts, but a radical hybrid nonetheless. And damn, does it look good!
It's fun to see a younger Dressen breezing through his classic Speed Freaks part and really paints a picture of who this OG really is. Whether you're unfamiliar with him—or a straight up mega fan—Dressen is a big part of skateboarding's foundation and has inspired countless individuals for decades.
So mellow, so rad. We have nothing but respect for Dressen! Thanks for the trip back in time.
