Is this the final installment? At this point, who even knows! But we're here for it. Either way, feast your eyes on more raw clips, outtakes, close calls and makes from P-Rod and squad in the fourth episode of his 'Me, Myself & I' B-Sides.
While I obviously enjoy the skating, I've always been a fan of watching pro skaters interact with kids out in the wild. I can remember running into pro skaters at local spots and schoolyards when I was younger and those memories have never left my mind.
Growing up in Southern California, it would happen enough, but not always. And each time, it was sort of like spotting a unicorn, you know? Watching our favorite pros in the videos is one thing—actually witnessing them in action with our own eyes was an unreal feeling. I have to imagine the kids at the beginning of the video here feel the same way to this day.
If you haven't seen the other 'Me, Myself & I' B-Side installments, tap the post above and you'll find a little spiderweb back to the first episode. They've all been super entertaining and each takes you on a nostalgic ride back to a really special time in skateboarding. From the clothes and spots to the footage itself, it's like stepping into a time capsule with each passing clip.
I love seeing clips at MACBA back when the four-block was still a four-block, too. That's when you really know you've traveled back in time. Paul has been around the world and back multiple times in his life, blowing minds every clip of the way. The P-Rod catalog is unarguably one of the most impressive catalogs in skateboarding, and he's still adding to it today.
Catch up on the other episodes! He might have more on the way...
