Sometimes things really do unfold exactly how they’re supposed to. Rowan Zorilla and Thunder Trucks recently shared the story of how a simple setback ended with Rowan securing a spot on one of skateboarding's heaviest squads, and it's honestly pretty funny.

It goes without saying these days, but Rowan is one of the dopest in the game. And this happy little accident is just another reason why skateboarding is so rad. When it comes to gear, the options are endless, but in fairness, a lot of us tend to stick with what we know. Especially when it comes to trucks.
I will admit that Thunder turned some heads when they debuted their new T-II trucks last year. I've yet to try them—it's on my list—but I've heard nothing but good things about them from countless people who also made the switch from other respected truck brands. Switching things up keeps stuff fun sometimes, and with so many options out there, why not test the waters every now and then?
Anyways... the moral of the story? I guess I'd just say don't be afraid to try something new—even if it's just to get your homie stoked. Now roll down to your local and throw on some Thunders. Again, the team speaks for itself. If they work for them, well, you know the rest...
