éS recently released a bold new colorway of their Accel OG in Dark Brown/Brown that is only available at skate shops across the globe. A solid way to show support for local shops and skateboarding as a whole, it'd be great to see more skate shoe companies taking a similar approach! Take a look:
The Accel is already one of éS' most iconic shoes and certainly one of the most demanded reissues. These days, I almost forget they ever even left. But the fact that these are only available at skate shops is a really cool gesture.
It's no secret that most brands thrive and survive in the online world these days, but skate shops are still the heartbeat of many skate communities across the globe. Anything we can do to support them is worth doing, and I can respect that éS is doing their part with a move like this.
As far as the colorway, I'd say these are pretty easy on the eyes, right? I don't think anything will ever beat that classic light brown colorway of this classic silhouette—you know the one—but these are still really sick. And the fact that they're so limited makes them that much better.
Judging by the comments on the post, folks are pretty hyped on these. Head down to your local shop and see if they have them yet. If not, hop on the post above and tag 'em! The holidays are here and there's really no better time to support skate shops than now. GTWYC!
