If you know Evergreen, you know they don’t miss. These are the same dudes behind some of the most thoughtfully designed skateparks in the country—parks built by actual skaters with a deep understanding of what works and, well, what doesn't. Selfishly, seeing these photos makes my own janky pre-fab park near my house feel even more tragic, but that’s another story. Ha! The real win here is for Salem, which is about to be home to another huge addition to the ever-expanding PNW skatepark scene.

Shoutout to the Evergreen builders and anyone who's been lending a hand. Real skateboarders building real skateparks. Boom!
