Ladies and gentlemen, meet Handy Handerson. The Arizona skate scene is filled with goofy, fun-having rippers. They're always up to something...always having fun. I guess there's just something about that dry, desert air that breeds 'em different.
I stumbled across @daveshandyhandboarding on the IG explore page and before I knew it, I was trapped in a spiral of handboarding maneuvers courtesy of Mr. Handerson. The powerslide mid-line...that really had me laughing out loud!

His bio reads, "World’s First and Only Full Size Pro Handboarder. Grab some popcorn and read the comments." So naturally, I threw some popcorn in the microwave and dove into the comments for a bit. Safe to say, I was not disappointed. I won't spoil them, though. Read this first, then I'll meet you there.
Jokes aside, some of the tricks he does are actually super impressive and clearly take some time. I mean, he has proper flick...but it's his hands. "This shit used to be easy," he says. "But now I actually have to work for tricks for y’all." Regardless, the effort is not going unnoticed.
I love that he tags Tony Hawk in basically every post. And Jarritos. He even got a little nod from Justin Eldridge and The Nine Club guys, coming through with Eldridge's request (Is that really a hardflip, though?) and was clearly ecstatic. It's even pinned at the top of his feed. Why not?

As I exit this handboarding portal, I check one last post. "Street Skating with the Squad today! Should I film a street part?" he asks in one of his most-viewed videos. Honestly, yes. You should. Whether this is my new dark secret or not, I'll continue to scroll through his feed and love every second of it.
