Daniel Barousse is a creative, talented individual. Utilizing old recycled skateboard decks, Daniel is proving that one man's trash can certainly be another man's treasure...and that treasure can turn into an entirely new type of treasure all the same.
From mid century modern coffee tables to knife handles and cutting boards; business signage to unique plates, bowls and so much more—we've seen people get creative with old crusty boards before, but Daniel is doing it right.

Watching the process of it all in the video above is cool to see. This is art!
Daniel has crafted up a ton of incredibly unique pieces, and by the looks of his IG, also whipped up the Red Bull Terminal Takeover trophies this year. I had seen those prior to knowing it was Daniel and thought they were super rad—little full circle moment here.
Out of everything he makes, I think those mid-century modern coffee tables are super, super sick. Whether you skate or not, they're beautifully made and would compliment any living room/dining room—any room—very tastefully.
Follow @barousseartworks to stay up to speed with Daniel's work and to maybe cop some one-of-a-kind item yourself. I'm not lying when I say I'm pretty tempted. This is rad!
