Nineties nostalgia is about as strong as it gets these days. As we grow older, so do our favorite pros, but that doesn't mean moves like this aren't constantly happening in the background.
The Muska took to Instagram yesterday and teased us with the news that he and éS are reuniting to release the first shoe he ever designed with them back in 1997—a familiar classic to many—and we're stoked.

"This is a little early still, but the word has hit the streets so I figured I would share some video tests I’ve been working on here at my house," said Muska via Instagram. Adding, "I’m super excited to finally say I’ve reunited with @esskateboarding to reissue the first shoe I released with them in 1997."
This shoe sparked the flame inside Muska's journey into footwear design and is oozing with nostalgia for anyone who pushed through this era. This skateboarding legend took his design career to impressive heights over the years, and it's comforting to see everything come back full circle.

People are going nuts in the comments, as expected. So much nostalgia, so many strolls down memory lane. Sometimes it just takes news like this to make these feelings come back. This is exciting in a million ways.
Amongst all the excitement, Muska is asking for our help, too. "Go to your local skate shop or distributor and let them know if you want this in your area," he says. "We are pre booking now and I want to make sure that everyone who wants these will get them."
More details are soon to follow, but in the meantime—get stoked! We certainly are. And as a huge Muska fan, I'm excited to personally slide my feet into a pair once they're available.
"I actually can’t believe this shoe is coming back out!" Muska exclaims. "Like reliving a dream all over again."
