Stereo Skateboards Adds a New Name to the Roster—Peep His Welcome Part

Stereo Skateboards Welcomes Chris Blake

Chris Blake might not necessarily be a household name, but if you're from Florida, chances are you know exactly who he is. He's been keeping it real for years, constantly staying busy in the streets, hitting the road, and stacking clips every step of the way.

His spot selection is always on point. His bag of tricks is deep and unique. And he isn't afraid to step to some crust. Love it. Stereo Skateboards recently added Chris to their team, saying, "With great trick selection and killer spot selection, combined with constantly getting himself on the road and out in the streets, this is well earned!" We couldn't agree more. Peep the short but ripping welcome video below.

The part feels right at home with that classic Stereo vibe: tight VX1000 filming, jazzy cuts, and a focus on the kind of raw, creative street skating that’s been the brand’s signature since day one—a perfect fit for a skater like Chris. If anything, it reminds us that style and substance still matter in a world overflowing with endless clips and quick hits.

This news is exciting for a few reasons. For one, Chris deserves his shine. Again, he's a perfect fit and we hope to see this bump take him wherever he wants to go. But more importantly, if you follow Stereo on Instagram, you probably noticed they've sort of been going through it lately. The fact that they're keeping the dream alive is respectful, to say the least. They clearly aren't ready to throw in the towel just yet.

Anyways, Chris has been holding it down for Florida for quite some time. He might be low key and arguably under the radar, but that doesn't take away the simple fact that the dude stays stacking. He can skate everything, too, which is rad. And he does it all with the type of style that leaves you wanting more.

Some dudes just look good on a skateboard, and Chris is one of them.

We're stoked to see what the future holds for both Chris and Stereo. But if this is any indication, I'd say it's business as usual over there at the Stereo camp. Onward.
