Street League Skateboarding is touching down in Sydney, Australia, February 14-15 and recently teased a first look at the course design inside the Ken Rosewall Arena.
The subtle nods to iconic Aussie spots like Martin Place are a nice touch, if you ask me. So rad! Say what you want about SLS courses, but Street League always does a good job sneaking in little Easter eggs like that at each stop while keeping things consistent. What else do you notice? "We're coming back, Australia! Following two sold-out Sydney events in 2023 and 2024, SLS returns to kick off the 2026 SLS Championship Tour with a massive two-day showdown at Ken Rosewall Arena," the SLS site reads.
"Day one kicks off with the Knockout Rounds, where you’ll get to see all your favorite skaters show off. Day two is the Finals, where those who make it through the knockout rounds will battle it out for the championship title, and the Best Trick Jam to wrap up the day. And for the first time in SLS history, Australia will host the season opener, bringing the world’s top skaters to Sydney for an unforgettable start to the 2026 season."
With Australia hosting the SLS season opener for the first time, this stop really sets the tone for the 2026 season. Pretty crazy to think how far Street League has come, right? It's 2026 and the progression is as alive and well as ever. For more info on SLS Sydney, visit: streetleague.com/sydney.
