With SLS Tokyo right around the corner, Erik Bragg and the folks at Street League Skateboarding just dropped a new episode of 'Get Lost' ahead of Saturday's event.
Join Bragg as he links with Yuto Horigome and some locals to get some insight on skating the streets, how to get around the city, what everyone gets into at night and a whole lot more. Take a look:
While I've personally never been to Tokyo, I've truly only ever heard amazing things about it. The food, the people, the culture, and of course, the skate scene are all more than enough reasons to visit, but after watching this episode, the FOMO is as real as ever!
There are literally a million places to skate, and as they mention, if you get kicked out of one, you're never far from another. Literally.
It's hard to not get distracted by all the night life in this episode, but I can't help but wonder if Yuto is feeling any extra pressure having this next stop so close to home? Shoot, does it even matter? Pretty sure this dude absolutely thrives under pressure, so only time will tell.
But yeah, everything else aside, the Tokyo culture seems like something I could definitely get into! Skating all day, eating incredible food, popping into bars, or hey... do it like the locals and just party outside of a 7-11 while you people watch. Insane!
