Filipe Mota has been under the microscope of some of skateboarding's heaviest hitters for a while now, and for good reason. He's well on his way to becoming one of them himself.
With a seemingly endless ability to deliver smooth, technical clips like this, on top of his always impressive contest performances, he's a great example of this new precise, hard-working, yet seemingly naturally talented generation of skateboarders.

When I say naturally talented, that's not to take anything away, either. Filipe is out there putting in the work like everyone else on his level, but that doesn't mean him and the rest of 'em don't make it look easy.
And even though these are just two quick clips on a ledge, they're a little more than that. They're a genuine display of Filipe's constant dedication on the board and that familiar hunger we all have as skaters to not only deepen our bag of tricks, but keep them tight and consistent.
Don't let the his effortlessness fool you—these are two heavy moves that we'd all be stoked to be rolling away from. Especially with the amount of style that's oozing off of Filipe while doing them.
