We're absolutely heart broken over this news. A lot of Atlanta skateboarders will tell you they owe Thomas everything.
Thomas, age 56, was a native born Atlantan. At the age of 18, he founded and operated Atlanta's first skater-owned skateboard shop, Stratosphere, in Morningside, which later moved to Little Five Points.
The Atlanta scene will never be the same, truly the end of an era.
