Skateboarding and spontaneity go hand-in-hand. So often some strange object will catch our attention—completely distract us—and urge us to start obsessing over the potential.
That was clearly the case with Tony Trujillo when he stumbled upon this spot with his wife (that is admittedly begging for a tail drop) and took full advantage! Doesn't matter how old or young you are—skateboarders see the world through a lens of their own.

I can't assume that TNT was the first one to brave this epic spot. The No Skateboarding signs at the bottom of the bank clearly tell me otherwise, but that's hardly the point. It's Tony's energy that inspires me here. It's the fact that he'll forever be on the hunt to get rad, to find new, untouched terrain (for him at least) and leaving his mark.
I will forever admire that spirit.
His caption says, "One try and got the boot from a disgruntled security guard." Just goes to show that sometimes one try is all you need. He came, he saw, he conquered this beast of a bank. Onto the next!
Trujillo will always be one of my favorites. Always ripping, always on fire. Let's all take a page out of Tony's book today.
