1. First approach the lip as if you're going to do a frontside ollie. Lean back a bit more into the ramp, and pop off the coping.
2. As you lean back into the ramp, turn your body allowing your board to stay underneath you. Lift your back leg and tail, grab your nose with your leading hand, smash your tail down, and whack the lip. Always be sure to make a nice loud smack. It feels good.
3. Be sure not to sit too far toward the deck of the ramp. Try and hit your tail and drop back in at the same time. Soon enough, you'll be able to take off on your front foot and bam it madonna time.
