Moving right along with celebrating all things Yeah Right!, ABD Collectibles is uncovering all kinds of never been seen footage, photos, and ephemera from Girl Skateboards' classic video from 2003.
Being known as one of the first, big budget skate videos with really well-done, highbrow skits (thanks in large part to company co-owner Spike Jonze), the "invisible board" skit was one that's been talked about for years. They crew went over it in the 20-year reunion panel, which you really need to watch, and new we're seeing the raw footage of the skating and "plate" footage that they layered together to make the magic happen. Trip out on this.
ABD is also offering a Lenticular deck from its collectible collection. Check it here.
Belmont school was the location of this reel's footage. It's also the school where they filmed the super slo-mo flip tricks in Yeah Right!'s intro.
And in more ABD nostalgia, Mikemo and long time art dumper Andy Mueller sit down to dig through some classic photos.
