The first thing that comes to mind is how unfriendly this spot looks to skate. It looks rad, for sure, but difficult. Still, it's no surprise that Carlos Ribeiro stepped to it and left with this banger in his pocket.
Of all the tricks to do on this spot, this is pretty insane. Popping over the curb and onto the ledge already makes this spot hard enough, but to pop out at the end of it—with a bigflip no less—is seriously top shelf!

I was impressed thinking he was just going to bigspin out. Honestly, he could've just popped out in general, regular or fakie, and it would've been a gnarly clip. But it's Carlos after all. The dude provides. His footage in Primitive's full-length DEFINE. was all next level—seriously, watch it below—but this clip certainly stands out.
I love the try where he just sort of calmly steps off the board with one foot, still sliding, picks up his board and casually walks back. That's control if I've ever seen it. And not long after, he's rolling away with that W!
I've mentioned before how these process videos always make you feel like you're on the session, and that really rings true here. Try after try, you see the progression, you see him methodically figuring it out, and before you know it—boom. So good. If I feel this stoked for Carlos just to see this trick go down, I can only imagine how it felt stomping it and rolling away. And to think, this was just mid-part! Carlos is gnarly. Watch the footage above and get stoked.
