As the dust settles from a heavy Tampa Pro weekend, we are still reliving some of the bits and pieces from the contest. With so much gnarly skating going down from all your favorite pros, it's sometimes hard to digest it all in real time.
Vincent Milou undeniably killed it all weekend long, unapologetically skating the course how HE wanted to. No surprise there. Koston, Daewon, Suciu, Spanky and countless other heavies can vouch for that in the comments, too. But his frontside flip over the bump-to-bar to switch 50-50 really caught my eye and is extremely satisfying to watch.

Major shoutout to Vincent for actually 1) properly popping out of the switch grind and remaining switch, and 2) keeping it simple in the same regard. No unnecessary (often easier) escape from the trick like some half-Cab out, or switch 180, or shuv...blah, blah. I respect how he kept it classy and tasteful. Sometimes less really is more.
Part of the reason this clip is so satisfying is the obvious smoothness of his execution. That, and the fact that he hits us with it out of nowhere. Comparisons to video games get tossed around a lot these days (really says a lot about our current times, if you think about it) as it's far less rare for skaters to pull off tricks that, a few years ago, would've been dreamt of in video games but thought of as impossible.
Vincent is such a versatile skater, sporadic in only the best way. A trick like this is what you want to happen, but don't actually ever expect to happen. Yet, here we are... What a G!
