The Vinyl Skateboards squad recently ripped through the Lone Star State to do some demos and shop signings. No overhyped nonsense. No gimmicks. Just some straight up ripping and connecting with the local scenes. This is what it's all about! Peep the edit below and let's talk Vinyl.
Blake Carpenter, Diego Najera, Art Cordova, Thomas Dritsas, Daniel Teran and Adilson Pedro hopped in the van and brought the stoke to each stop. The team is so diverse, but every one of these dudes brings something raw and refreshing to the mix. All I can say is these trips still matter—skaters meeting skaters, brands showing up, local scenes getting a moment to shine. I love to see it.
Since we're talking Vinyl, I have to rewind a bit and make sure you've seen their debut video that dropped in February 2025. Blake Carpenter, Art Cordova and Thomas Dritsas came out swinging and seeing the team grow over the past year has been rad to witness.
Selling boards is one thing, but building a solid team of ripping skateboarders is a beast of its own. In that realm, I’d say Vinyl has already succeeded and continues to prove that they're here to stay.
There's a lot of board brands out there these days—you don't need me to tell you that—but many of them fail to come correct. Vinyl is carving a lane of its own though, and we can't wait to see what they bring to the table in 2026. So far, so good.
