Kona Russi is one of those lensmen who seems to always keep busy. His new edit 'Hold Your Ground' features a nice blend of homies and heavy hitters lighting up the streets of LA and beyond. Solid stuff from start to finish. Take a look:
If you're an avid YouTuber—or really, just a fan of rad skating—you should definitely peep (and follow) Russi's channel. In fact, you should tap the post below and watch 'Who's To Blame?', which was the edit he dropped before this a few months back.
We've always been big fans of indie videos, homie edits and all the ripping skaters out there who are doing it for the love. Nothing beats getting the squad together and staying motivated in the streets. That's what it's all about, isn't it? Whether you're a pro, a hungry up-and-comer or just out there participating, that feeling will truly never get old.
Kona's latest edit features: Pitas Higgins, Emmanuel Duran, Emmett Flynn, Silas Wieners, Vincent McDonald, Mike Anderson, Cash Kenton, Diego Todd, Lawrence Quero and Nick Livigni. They each bring a ton of flavor to the edit in their own unique ways. Bangers everywhere!
As skateboarders, I think we can all relate to edits like these in one way or another. Rad spots, familiar parks, unique approaches... everyone does their part and adds a little fuel to the fire. It's rad. The Manderson and Diego Todd clips were a nice little bonus, but in fairness, all the homies are really shining here!
Shoutout to Russi and crew! Killed it on this one. Can't wait to see what's next.
