This is not your average flatground session. Jamie Griffin has some magic feet and an ambitiously creative mind that pairs with them perfectly. He might be smiling, but he's not messing around with these.
It takes some serious skill to be pulling these tricks off so casually, jokingly almost. You have to be so precise, so in tune with your board. But I guess if you're going to go to your local skatepark just to skate flatground, they might as well be this caliber.

We've posted Jamie before and each time for good reason, but some of these tricks right here are honestly next level. You only bag these types of tricks if you, 1) have a lot of free time, or 2) crunch some serious hours of relentless solo effort whenever you can. It's the fact that he does each trick so well—all of them, with style and casual confidence—that's really the most gnarly part of it all, though.
One of the comments said, "bro really said, 'yeah I’m immune to the laws of physics,'" which was funny, but after some investigating, seems to be a common theme in the comments of his posts. A lot of physics talk, both serious and comically. He's like a science experiment; these tricks should be studied and dissected. They're just that uncommon. Not NBDs, but very rare nonetheless.
They're all impressive, but I love the fluidness of that first trick. The switch frontside flip with a 360 body varial, wahtever you want to call it. It just works and it's hard to catch at first. If Jamie asks you to play a game of SKATE, I'd just say nah, take the letters and keep on rolling. I wouldn't even know where to start. This was one helluva session.
