Kevin Baekkel and his friends organize the wild Torshov Open every year, and after you see this, you're gonna want to make the trip out in 2024.
Featuring Kevin Baekkel, Wes Kremer, David Gravette, Tiago Lemos, Giovanni Vianna, Hermann Stene, Milton Martinez, Gabriel Fortunato, Marius Syvanen, Liam Pace, Rune Glifberg, Trey Wood, Yam Behar, Bjarne Tjøtta, Elias Nilsen, Gabriel Bjørsvik, Dlamini Dlamini, Alexander Risvad, and many many more.
Filmed by Jack Thompson and Bennet Rahm. Edited by Bennet Rahm.
Wes Kremer fires it up and David Gravette gets his back broken big time in the first 30 seconds of this video. The mini ramp session is first with all kinds of big Ollies and 270s into lipslides. Then it's the vert session with not many pads in sight. Rune Glifberg hasn't missed a step and gets buck all over the ramp. Wes continues headbanging to the heavy metal band rampside.
The bump to bar is next and we're treated to some Tiago Lemos bangers. The Torshov flatbar rears its ugly head next, but Gravette eventually slays the beast. Stay tuned until the end to see all the other madness.
Between this, the Copenhagen Open, Helsinki Helride, and Simple Session in Estonia, is it safe to say the European contest circuit is back?
